SsAM’s United Thank Offering (UTO) program runs through Sunday, November 26, 2023.
You may contribute to UTO three ways:
- by check (payable to SsAM with UTO on the memo line);
- online by clicking here and using the UTO line; and
- by filling a traditional “blue box” found in the narthex (front entry to the church sanctuary) and on the rolling carts.
The United Thank Offering (UTO) is a ministry of The Episcopal Church for the mission of the whole church. Through UTO, individuals are invited to embrace and deepen a personal daily spiritual discipline of gratitude. UTO encourages people to notice the good things that happen each day, give thanks to God for those blessings and make an offering for each blessing using a UTO Blue Box.
UTO is entrusted to receive the offerings, and to distribute the 100% of what is collected to support innovative mission and ministry throughout The Episcopal Church and Provinces of the Anglican Communion.
UTO Prayer
Gracious God, source of all creation,
all love, all true joy: accept, we pray,
these outward signs of our profound and
continuing thankfulness for all of life.
Bless those who will benefit from these
gifts through the outreach of the
United Thank Offering;
and keep each of us ever thankful for all the
blessings of joy and challenge that come our
way; through Him who is the
greatest gift and blessing of all,
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
