The Soul of the City Community Fun Fest was held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, Noon to 5pm at on North Market and N. Shipley Streets between 7th and 8th, Wilmington, DE.

Soul of the City Community Fun Fest 2019, Wilmington, DelawareChristina Cultural Arts Center Inc. and The Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew & Matthew hosted this annual celebration. Soul of the City is the ultimate downtown “block party,” featuring crafts vendors, food trucks, family fun activities, and live performances by CCAC students, faculty and alumni along with regional artists. Soul of the City honors the uniqueness of downtown organizations and communities, while championing Wilmington’s revitalization.

ALL DAY: Delaware Art Museum art project making FunFest buttons, Zumba dancing, kid’s art workshop with Mr. Milton, Environmental Justice Ministry seedlings give-away, duPont Environmental Center live animal exhibit, St.Michael’s School and Nursery large foam play toys, Street Games (bowling, jump rope, hopscotch, bean bag toss, hula hoops), Hot Dog Stand, Rita’s Water Ice, Baked Goods and Book Sale, free refreshments at the Self-Service Cafe, FunFest T-shirt sale table, Passport Raffle, Wilmington Fire Truck, Wilmington Police Department Cruiser, Wilmington Public Library, Habitat for Humanity, New Castle County Rockwood Museum exhibit, Game Room Bingo,  and card games.
