Our 2023 Stewardship campaign began Sunday, October 15, 2023 and ran for seven weeks alongside the Season of Creation. Our theme was “Rooted in Abundance”. You may have noticed the banner at the top of the stairs in the Narthex. Our logo is a tree with many and deep roots with generosity twisting up the trunk to leaf out and spread in a glory of profusion.
When we think about generosity, we realize that God has blessed us infinitely with all of the gifts of Creation, our lives, our labor and our loves. When we take stock, we realize that our lives and our responses to God’s generosity are Rooted in Abundance.
A letter was mailed to members of the congregation about this year’s stewardship campaign. On the back side was a pledge card to share your financial promises for the year. Or you can click here to use the pledge form on this website.

Those able to be active at SsAM shared their energy and their wisdom. It is more than staffing committees. Our work of wisdom unlocks creativity to grow our mission. We collaborate with other people, institutions, and churches to serve our neighbors. Through our education programs, we form generous, grateful hearts. We find joy when we volunteer to make things better.
During this year’s stewardship campaign, as you heard and read the messages and stories from our ministry leaders, please take note of how generosity spreads and widens our root structures of faith and action and how we experience our faith, a faith rooted in abundance.
Thank you,
The SsAM Stewardship Committee: John Goodill (chair), Dan Edgar, Patty Greene, Sharon Leyhow and Danny Schweers.
