On Sunday, June 6, 2021, seventy-seven people came to the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew in downtown Wilmington, Delaware to worship God. This is news because the numbers attending SsAM in-person have been zero for most of the last 15 months. We have been worshiping via video, not in person.
We continue to broadcast the service over YouTube video. On Sunday, June 6, forty-eight people did that. This new format will continue indefinitely at 10:30 a.m., a hybrid service, with the congregation attending in-person and via video. The video service is broadcast live, so people can watch it in real time from their homes or while on vacation. Also, once the service concludes, the video can be watched later in the day, or days later. Click here to visit the SsAM YouTube Channel.
Soon, we hope to again be worshiping in-person on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. as well.
