These video-conference sessions will explore the Rule of St. Benedict, a spiritual discipline written in the 5th century, at a time very similar to ours today. Then the Roman Empire was crumbling and there was a great deal of chaos. The Rule of Benedict is considered by many to be in the tradition of early Christian wisdom and still has something to say to us today in these times when we cannot see one another, when we cannot be together.
We will be using as our text Joan Chittister’s wonderful book about the Rule of Benedict, Wisdom Distilled from the Daily. Click here to learn more.
