Dear SsAM members and supporters,
The Stewardship Committee would like to offer a big
to all who have participated in our stewardship campaign to date either by pledging or providing updates on the activities of our ministries to the congregation.
The level of interest and participation has been great! The energy for the future of SsAM and its work is inspiring!
While the formal stewardship campaign is closing, we are always open to those who come late to the pledging table. In fact, the committee is looking at strategies to keep our role as stewards front and center all year long. One of those strategies will be to highlight the good works here at SsAM by featuring a “ministry of the month” in our communications to the whole congregation. Look for these starting in January.
We would like to close the formal part of the stewardship campaign by quoting our SsAM goal:
To be an inclusive Christian community which worships God; follows Christ in all aspects of our lives and serves the greater Wilmington area through actions and ministries which promote Peace, Justice, Reconciliation and Empowerment for ALL people.
And offer our stewardship prayer:
Creator Lord, our God ~ You brought us into being one by one as an individual branch on Your Living Tree of Limitless Love. Thank You for the Spiritual food that guides our souls through our parish, local, and global efforts in Your Service. Open each of our hearts to pledge abundantly in our myriad ways to deepen these sacred roots as Your Gospel in each new leaf. As we tend, nourish, and prosper all of Your Creation, we will radiate the Light of the Son within us through the Spirit of Your Bountiful Grace. Amen.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to any member of the committee or the parish administrator, D-L Casson at 302 656-6628.
May your holidays be blessed, Rooted in Abundance,
The 2023 SsAM Stewardship Committee:
