Adult Choir at SsAM
The adult choir of the Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew consists of 20-25 singers with a core of eight professionals (The Choral Scholars). The choir sings regularly for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Liturgy and for special feast days throughout the year. They also present a Choral Evensong Series and a number of concerts each season.
The choir's repertoire consists of a full range of Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic and Contemporary anthems and motets as well as Anglican, Gregorian and Taize Chant, Spirituals, Gospel and World Music selections.
Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Membership is open to members of the parish as well as singers from the community. Singers interested in singing with the choir should contact the Music Director, David Christopher, at (302) 656-6628 or .
