Membership
Members of the Episcopal Church subscribe to the Baptismal Covenant found in our Book of Common Prayer.
We confess Jesus Christ as our Savior, intend to follow him as our Lord, and pledge to work, pray, and give for the spread of God's Kingdom. Our parish is committed to expressing our faith particularly in ministries of peace and justice. We are always eager to welcome new members into our fellowship.
New members are brought into the Church at the time of the Bishop's annual pastoral visit to the parish. This year's visit is scheduled for May 25, 2008. If you wish to be presented to the Bishop at that time for Baptism, Confirmation, or Reception from another Christian denomination, plan to participate in the Inquirers' Classes for adults, to be offerec on Monday evenings, beginning March 31. Click here for more details.
If you wish to be presented to the Bishop, but you are not able to attend the Monday evening meetings, please call Lucia Robinson at the church office at 656-6628 to make other arrangements. If you are registered as an Episcopalian in another Episcopal Church, you may ask for a transfer of your membership by calling the church office at 656-6628.
