 Folk Art by Eunice Lafate

Life’s Dimensions by Eunice LaFate

Our quarterly ArtSLAM event on Friday, June 27th from 7-9 PM featured artist Eunice Lafate. Eunice LaFate’s Folk Art focuses on the “Bright” side of Life. Her painting, Life’s Dimensions, portrays the bright side, the dark side, peaks and valleys, but her poem concludes “Life is what you make it” so always look on the bright side.

ArtSLAM will also featured Griots Wa Umoja, a group of African drummers, dancers and singers. African drummer, Kamau Ngom, leader and founder of this talented group, has studied with a variety of master musicians including John Hines, Arthur Hall, Robert “Boysie” Lowery, and Kulu Mele. We had some fun!
