
Art Slam at SsAM usually happens the last Friday of every month except August and December, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Art Slam is free and open to the public. There is free parking next to the church.

The featured artist for ARTSLAM at SsAM is Kenny Bond, better known as Ken-Do. He is a fabulous photographer, whose exhibit is titled, "Ken-Do, The Man Who Shoots Life." He describes his exhibition as "The beauty of life as seen through the eyes of one photographer, who loves the art of capturing moments in time."
In addition to our featured artist, ART SLAM continues to be OPEN MIC VENUE for all ARTISTS!! So bring your musical instruments, your voices, your books, storytelling, poetry, etc... and come on out!!

Calling All Artists and Performers
What is Art Slam? Art Slam at SsAM is a monthly gathering in the Auditorium of people who appreciate the Arts. Amateur poets, authors, visual artists, musicians, singers, dancers, steppers provide informal performances and presentations. Also, there are refreshments for sale.
So, calling all writers, artists, etc. Please come out to perform or to listen. It is a relaxing way to unwind, experience local creativity and perhaps launch the next great performer!
New performers are encouraged to participate.
