Our capital campaign continues to move forward, and we now have $895,118 pledged toward our goal of $1.35 million. You may make campaign payments by check, or for your convenience, you may pay by credit card using the link on the SsAM website. Many thanks to all.
Work will begin on the kitchen phase of our two projects on Monday, April 1st. Look for information coming soon about ways you can help prepare for the kitchen renovation. We will be looking for volunteers to help pack up the kitchen so that we don’t have to spend parish resources as we prepare for this exciting upgrade to our facilities.
In a recent edition of The News Journal, an article was published telling of the census that is being undertaken to count the number of homeless in the State of Delaware. It noted that Code Purple, which is housed at The Episcopal Church of Saints Andrew and Matthew, provides hot food and respite from the cold to this population in Wilmington on frigid afternoons and evenings. Because of your contribution to the Sharing Our Blessings campaign, we will be able to provide even more reliable services next year, once the renovation to our kitchen has been completed.
